These Terms and Conditions govern your use of evcsonline.com and your participation in our text messaging program. Please read them before using this website or agreeing to receive text messages from us.
East Valley Christian School and East Valley Christian Preschool are ministries of East Valley Pentecostal Church. In these terms, "we," "us," "our," and "the school" refer to East Valley Christian School and East Valley Christian Preschool.
Text Message Program Terms
About the program
East Valley Christian School operates a text messaging program for parents and guardians who ask us about enrollment. The program sends messages about inquiries, campus tours and visits, application status, placement testing, and openings in our programs. We also use it to answer questions you send us by text.
Our text messages come from (408) 539-0862.
How you join
You join the program by giving us your mobile number and checking the consent box on a form at evcsonline.com, or by texting us first and asking us to follow up by text.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment, admission, or receiving any information from the school. You can submit any form on our website without agreeing to receive texts, and we will respond by email or phone instead.
You must be 18 or older and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you give us.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on where you are in the enrollment process. Most families receive between two and eight messages during an inquiry, and fewer after that. We do not send a fixed number of messages on a schedule.
Cost
We do not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply based on your plan with your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier if you have questions about your plan.
How to stop messages
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we will not text you again unless you rejoin.
You can also ask us to remove your number by calling the school office at (408) 270-2525 or using our contact page.

Supported carriers
Our program is compatible with major carriers in the United States, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and many regional and prepaid carriers.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered, and delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and your service coverage.
Changing your mobile number
If you change or give up your mobile number, please tell us so we do not send messages intended for you to someone else.
Your privacy
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the messaging service providers we use to deliver our own messages to you, and those providers may not use it for any other purpose.

Emergencies
Do not use text messaging for urgent or emergency matters. We monitor incoming texts during school office hours only. For anything time sensitive, call the school office at (408) 270-2525. For an emergency, call 911.
