Preschool Program

About our Pre-K Program

Our Preschool Program at East Valley Christian School is uniquely designed for children who have moved beyond the toddler stage but aren't quite ready for Transitional Kindergarten. During these important developmental years, children experience tremendous growth in language, social skills, and cognitive abilities. Our program harnesses this natural development through a carefully structured curriculum tailored to their specific needs.

To increase program accessibility to all parents, we accept subsidized programs such as GoKids, Choices for Children, and CalWORKs, offer extended hours, and are closed only on national holidays.

Experienced Teaching Team
Our Preschool Program features our signature multi-generational teaching approach, where enthusiastic, trained early childhood educators work alongside experienced teachers—some of whom have been with EVCS for decades. This blend of energy and wisdom provides children with innovative teaching methods supported by time-tested expertise. All teachers in our preschool program hold appropriate early childhood education credentials, demonstrate genuine joy in working with young children, maintain current CPR and First Aid certification, participate in ongoing professional development, and share a strong commitment to Christian education and values.
Spiritual Development
Spiritual Development Spiritual growth is integrated naturally throughout our preschool day: Bible Stories and Activities: Age-appropriate lessons that bring Scripture to life. Character Development: Emphasis on biblical values like kindness, honesty, and respect. Prayer: Learning to talk to God throughout the day. Worship: Joyful songs and movement that express faith in ways preschoolers understand. Christian Holidays: Meaningful celebrations that help children understand the true significance of Christmas, Easter, and other special times. Our teachers model Christ's love in their interactions with children, creating a nurturing environment where faith becomes a natural part of daily life.

Spanish for All!

Our schoolwide Spanish program is taught from preschool through junior high, focusing on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through age-appropriate methods. We deliver interactive lessons that include songs, stories, and games for younger grades, while upper grades engage in conversation, writing, and projects. The program emphasizes cultural connections by teaching students about holidays, music, art, and traditions, alongside practical application through Spanish use in classroom routines and community events. With progressive skill-building designed to develop fluency year by year toward high school readiness, this program equips students with bilingual communication skills, builds cultural appreciation and global awareness, and aligns with EVCS's mission of academic excellence and leadership formation.
