Simple Steps to Join the EVCS Family
At East Valley Christian School, we've designed our enrollment process to be straightforward and welcoming. We're excited about the possibility of partnering with your family in your child's education, and we're here to guide you through each step of the process.
Step 1: Private

The first step in joining our school community is scheduling a private tour with Principal Perez. This personal meeting allows us to:
- Get to know your child and your family
- Show you our campus and facilities
- Answer your specific questions about our programs
- Discuss how EVCS can meet your child's unique needs
- Share our vision for Christian education
This visit helps both your family and our team determine if EVCS is the right fit for your educational goals. We encourage all family members involved in the decision to attend if possible.
Step 2: Online
Enrollment
Step 2: Online Enrollment
Once you've decided that EVCS is the right choice for your family, our application process is online and hassle-free:
- You'll receive a link to our online enrollment portal
- Complete the application form with your family information
- Submit required documentation (birth certificate, immunization records, etc.)
- Review and sign school policies and agreements
- Pay the enrollment fee to secure your child's place
Our administrative team is available to assist you with any questions during this process. We can provide computer access at the school if needed to complete your application.
Step 3: Placement Testing

After your enrollment application is submitted:
- You'll receive an email invitation to schedule your child's Placement Test
- Tests can be scheduled Monday-Friday at EVCS
- Testing typically takes 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your child's age
- Results help us properly place your child and identify any areas where additional support may be needed
Placement testing helps us ensure that your child begins their EVCS journey in the optimal learning environment for their unique needs and abilities.
Enrollment Timeline
While we accept applications throughout the year as space allows, we recommend the following timeline for the best enrollment experience:
- January-February: New enrollment and re-enrollment for current families
- March-April: Open enrollment for new families (priority consideration)
- May-August: Enrollment continues based on available space
- September-December: Mid-year enrollment as openings allow
Earlier application provides the best opportunity for placement, especially in our most popular grade levels.
